1 set fresh from machine shop, 46cc chambers, fully ported, titanium valves, new springs, ready to go, -$1200 OBO

1 set used for dyno session, 58 cc chambers, fully ported, titanium valves, will include a new set of springs and extra valves-$1000 OBO

If I am correct these will fit on a production block, but for a car with any horsepower it would blow the bottom end out fast.

They will bolt on to the block but need a different intake manifold, and header setup.

They will bolt to a production 109 (or 4.1) block but only with the stock 8 head bolts, not the 14 that the heads have holes for. You will need different head bolts or studs, intake manifold (with injector fuel rails, plenum, and throttle body), headers, valve covers, rockers, pushrods, and cam. Most often the A/C box is removed for clearance since the valve covers sit maybe .5" taller. I don't think they have the accessory mounting holes so you have to make up brackets. Ballpark guess is that they would flow 20-40% better than highly ported aftermarket aluminum heads like the GN1s.

Nah man. These full race, needs a tall single plane 4bbl manifold. I wish I had a pic to show you, but they are VERY different then production heads. We are talking NASCAR heads.

   What? Your post makes absolutely no sense at all.... nascar heads? Nascar meaning....like when I ask people what cam they have an they say"it's an rv cam" They are buick motorsports heads, they will bolt to a production block, with some work anything can be done, but you have to ask yourself why? BTW pics of all stage heads can be found at gnttype.org, and that would be a converted 4bbl intake, not some circle track mess...-;) :)

Ok, here we go let us split hairs. To the best of my knowledge the heads I am looking at right now came out of a circle track motor. This was the head used in Busch Grand National racing when they used V6 engines. This is why I said "NASCAR" so to me it makes sense. If you have other info on the subject I am all ears, but this is my comprension at the time.

Yes they will bolt on to the block, no problem.

4bbl intake - Yes it would be a converted 4bbl intake. Sorry if I needed to use the word "converted." But you could convert a circle track mess intake to be used with fuel injection.

My point being these heads bolt on but they are not bolt heads. Yes it will work but this is a major job. As I originally stated with all the power TSM guys put through a 109 would it be worth it to put a set of heads on that can easily flow 310 on the intake side?

Hmm.. sorry for the pissy post. I see what nascar would mean to you, but if they came out of a circle track engine they are not set up for a forced induction motor either.....busch motors were never turbocharged, the compression was a lot higher, so the ports and everything else in the head was designed for those applications, not drag race stuff. No hair splitting required.:)

I thought alot of the s2 heads came off indy cars that heard ran as much as 55 psi boost through them-thanks

Don't really need them at this time but they are good heads. I can't give you what you are asking but if you want to move the product...

How much will you take for the 46cc heads?

Thanks

No, not really. The indy engines had a special head all their own. YOu think the intake ports on a SII head are big?, you ought to see a true Indy head!!!! Their intake ports make make the SII intake ports look puny by comparison. You can literally poke a coke can into the Indy head intake ports.

But to answere Ted's question.

Yes, they can be bolted to a stock 109 block. Practical? Absolutely not!!!!!!!
You will have to change the following to SII setup:

entire valve train, including cam (SII heads have a totally different vavle arrangement) intake, exhaust----intake, exhaust----intake exhaust.

No stock intake, not even BGC will fit a SII head. You'll need to fab up an intake system for the SII heads.

Headers. NO stock header will fit

Valves, push rods, etc.

valve covers.

I know I've left something out.

In all practicallity, it just doesn't make any sense at all to put SII heads (along with their inherent capabilities) on a stock block.

Sorry for stealing your thread there 67turboCamaro but just had to clerify some points.

BTW, I'd kill for those big chamber heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even though I already have a pair.

Loved your car at BG!!!! got a nice little vid. of you launching.

dave, not all indy heads were the large square ports, some teams used them , i have bought and sold serval heads from indy car teams, i have two sets now one is on my engine, and the ports look same as a nascar head, i had a set of those big square port heads now kendall has them, i have a set of iron stage heads that were ported by schmitt of indianapolis they build pro stock motors, i have one indy block that was assembled and never run, it was a odd fire, i sold everthing except the block , its a old off center 4.1 bore 3.900, sorry to steal your thread 67 camaro,:)
