Stall Converter

I can get a good deal on a 10" 3500 lockup stall, which is what I was getting ready to order anyway. Problem is it was a 700R4 converter behind a SBC. The guy that runs the shop though it would bolt up in my TTA, will it?

Found the answer to my question, which is what I thought... 200R4 has 27 spline input shaft instead of 30 like on the later 700's, otherwise it would work

If its a screamin deal and a reputable manufacturer you could send it in and have the 2004R splined internals put in. I sent my converter in for a stall adjustment once and it came back with 30 splines... had to send it back and do it all over again.
