When going from or too a higher or lower stall does this effect your WOT shift points, Like if you go from 2400 stall to 2000 will this lower your WOT shift points 400 RPMs! and going from 2000 to 2400 lift the WOT shift points 400 RPMs. Just asking because I am thinking of changing my stall speed and Im wondering if I will have to recalibrate my governor again!

Thanks in advance!

Should not. WOT shift points are controlled by the governor in the tranny. Your "ground speed" may be a little less at the same shift point with a higher stall, if it's not particularly efficient (some are, some arent).

some useful info .although the engine rpm that the shift points occur at will remain constant, the shift feel and drive shaft rpm(miles per hour )at which they occur will change based on the convertors efficiency when unlocked.this means that convertor "A" MAY ALLOW 40 MPH IN FIRST GEAR AT 5500 RPM WITH A LIGHT SNARL ON THE GEAR CHANGE ,AND CONVERTOR"B"MAY ALLOW 50 MPH IN FIRST GEAR AT 5500 RPM WITH A HEAVY BARK ON THE GEAR CHANGE.the d5 is very efficient .www.ckperformance.com
