While watching the Bruins lose....
First off the kit is very impressive. Everything is top quality here. Big thumbs up. I was able to get the pump mounted, hoses routed and nozzle installed. That was a 3 beer job and I was watching the Bruins lose too
Anyways, my MAF and up-pipe were one off custom pieces so there was enough clearance to get the nozzle on the uderside of the pipe. I had a really tough time getting the nozzle threaded though. The pipe is painted and clear coated which added to the thickness of the pipe and half my troubles. I used a dremel to remove the paint under where the washer sits and then was able to get my air ratchet in the pipe to get the nozzle spinning and finally catch a thread. After that it went on greeat with no trouble. I took my time routing hoses and had my kit shipped w/an extra long hose. I went down the back side of the turbo along the oil feed line and zip tied to the underside of the lower radiator hose. I mounted the filter and zip tied that to the front frame rail right along side of the radiator core support. Could have used an extra 3-4 inches to put it how I really wanted it but this is pretty good the way it sits.
I put masking tape on the line to not scrape up my pipes or get the hose all greased up from my hands, just have to tear it off. I think I'm going to get some 1/4" wire loom and slip it over the steel braid to disguise it a bit.
Anyways, I snapped a few picts (with my Blackberry) so not the greatest quality, but you get the idea. I'll hopefully get it buttoned up on Wednesday.
