While watching the Bruins lose....

First off the kit is very impressive. Everything is top quality here. Big thumbs up. I was able to get the pump mounted, hoses routed and nozzle installed. That was a 3 beer job and I was watching the Bruins lose too

Anyways, my MAF and up-pipe were one off custom pieces so there was enough clearance to get the nozzle on the uderside of the pipe. I had a really tough time getting the nozzle threaded though. The pipe is painted and clear coated which added to the thickness of the pipe and half my troubles. I used a dremel to remove the paint under where the washer sits and then was able to get my air ratchet in the pipe to get the nozzle spinning and finally catch a thread. After that it went on greeat with no trouble. I took my time routing hoses and had my kit shipped w/an extra long hose. I went down the back side of the turbo along the oil feed line and zip tied to the underside of the lower radiator hose. I mounted the filter and zip tied that to the front frame rail right along side of the radiator core support. Could have used an extra 3-4 inches to put it how I really wanted it but this is pretty good the way it sits.

I put masking tape on the line to not scrape up my pipes or get the hose all greased up from my hands, just have to tear it off. I think I'm going to get some 1/4" wire loom and slip it over the steel braid to disguise it a bit.

Anyways, I snapped a few picts (with my Blackberry) so not the greatest quality, but you get the idea. I'll hopefully get it buttoned up on Wednesday.

Nice job Joe. Yeah, I was a little pissed at the half-assed effort they put in last night.
Doing anything special with the control box install?
I'm looking for something a little different than what most have done so I'm curious if you have anything in mind.

Well...I did test fit the controller in my ash tray..since I've got a column ****, column s - h - i - f - t- can't say shift..geez!!! someone fix the mother ****ing filters on the ****ing board :) and you know what...the fugger fit in there perfectly!!

It took me a good 35-40 min to get that nozzle in there..what a biatch because it was so close. I hope it's good where it is.

Snapped a few picts with a real camera this morning.

If you sand and polish the fittings they look like GOLD :D

Hose guess turn out ok?

Yes, the 41" was very close. I routed as you can see down behind the turbo and under the radiator hose. It got right to the frame rail where it meets the lower radiator support with about an inch or so of excess. I think I can tighten it up a bit and get it on the other side of the rail which is where I want it. Another 2-3" would have been perfect, but that was a pretty good guess!

Can't wait to get the rest of it installed tomorrow. I'm figuring to get it all installed and just give a very conservative tune, 18# which any street chip can do, then really spend the time tuning it on Tuesday of the Nats.

I'm looking to pick up a Powerlogger while there which should help to make things easier.

looks good, i had my tune with ta-49 pushin about 26#s last week, of course 26#s as read by gauge, figure couple psi drop but anyway

like a new car, but adding 60mm this week so i'll tune for about 24#s

Montreal had thier PP back last night...im still in it though
