I just wanted to make sure i connected this right....

There are 2 wires from the harness that connect to the big post on the starter, 1 wire from the harness that connects to the small post, and the battery cable that also connects to the big post.

I just wanted to clarify because I read in another thread that there were 3 wires that go to the big post (not counting the battery)

Ummm...the ones with the big eyelet go to the big post and the small eyelet goes to the small post... DUH! :p

The small wire will be purple in color (unless a previous owner or mechanic jacked with it).

The large terminal wires that go to the large post (other than the battery cable) are the fusible linked wires that provide power to the fuse panel (i.e. the rest of the car.) If the infamous previous owner or mechanic has replaced any of the fusible links he may have added or subtracted to the number of wires. Bottom line is that if you have connected all the wires and everything works...don't go lookiong for more wires. :D
