Scat Billet cranks are machined from a solid piece of material and all the work is done state side. Typically billet cranks from Scat, Crower etc are $2k plus. CAT and Eagle cranks come from the land of Wal Mart products (China). Eagle would lead you to believe their products are machined in the US but I doubt it. CAT stuff is so inexpensive there is no way it could be machined here. Scat rods are from overseas too.

What are the differences between the cat and scat cranks? much better quality? any pis? just saw some scat rods on ebay.
BMS cranks were machined by a variety of different companies in the US. The crankshaft forgings came from Buick Motorsports and had a forging part # 25500008.
