steel shim gaskets w. Alum heads ?

Anyone running steel shim gaskets with champion alum heads ?

Want to make sure the steel gaskets will work well with the aluminum.

Am trying to decide between steel or 9441 stock style.
Just dont like the mess the 9441 create if they fail.
