Stock 84 Turbo ?'s

Last summer and I spun a bearing in my stock 84 GN engine and that is currently getting rebuilt. I figured I better get my turbo checked out. It's a stock turbo.

I haven't taken it in yet, but when I spoke to the turbo shop on the phone today, he said he would be happy to take a look at it, but if it needed any parts they would have to be machined because parts were no longer available for that turbo.

Is this true? If not, where is a good place to get parts from.

Call precision Turbo and Engine or Limit engineering. They can machine out your comp housing for bigger wheels and supply ex. housings and CHRA's.
