I'll take the VDO tachometer if it is still available? How did you have it mounted? Does it have any type of mount with it?

Yes, the tach is available. It mounts in one of the a-pillar or console gauge pods that house 2 1/16 gauges. My pics show a FPG with one of these pods on the a-pillar. The a-pillar would be my choice for mounting the tach. It worked perfectly in my car, I just went with a bigger tach.
