Stock Boost?

I can hit 8.7psi with my stock 99 GS...

is that normal?

what if i move down a size in pulley what PSI would that be?

That's about normal with a clean filter. I used to hit about 8 with my car stock. Going to a 3.4" pulley should get you to 10-11psi sometimes a little more, then it is time to do some exhaust work like remove the resonator and u-bend.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I changed to a K&N cone and have seen as high as 10lbs. at the top of second gear with the stock pulley!
