My car came with a TA49 turbo installed from previous owner. The original Garrett turbo was with the car as well boxed up. It still works, not bound up etc. how much could I sell it for to help fund my E85 conversion?
Not sure what they are worth.
My GN has 42k original miles, I have no idea how long ago the ta49 was installed in its place.

You can trade it to kirbans for some parts you might need, i know he gives store credit for stock turbos.

But does anyone know what they are valued at?

Used, i would say around 400.00 to 500.00. You wont get that from Kirbans but sometimes its nice to pay it forward.

4-500 for a used stock turbo would be a little on the optimistic side. Core value is in the $150 range. $350 range is about what i have paid for a good used stock turbo in the past.

I would put the value at $200-250. A fresh rebuilt stock turbo by Limit Engineering with a 12 month guarantee is $610. These can be found at Kirbans. Your turbo is 30 years old and is now unknown. You are one step up from the value of a core. My 2 cent opinion.
