My car has a ta 49, red Armstrong chip, 208/208 cams, alky control, walbro 340 pump, fuel pressure regulator, and a fmic off a powerstroke I believe. I'm not 100% sure. Is the fmic irrelevant for my setup? It's very laggy could the stock intercooler be more relevant for my setup. Thanks

If it were me, i would keep what i have and grow into it. The psic is a damn good ic. Maybe try an RJC boost valve to assist spool up? Post pics of the ic if you are not sure it is a psic.

Have you tried the RJC boost controller? It's only like 65 bucks and it helps with spool quite a bit. I noticed a huge pick up with a D5 convertor and a TE-44 turbo.

Okay I will and I have a boost controller but its not Jason's. and my converter says 7y all over it have you heard of it? I'm gonna pick up a d5 and see how that helps

I'd wait on picking anything up other than a RJC style controller. I'd check for exhaust leaks too.

If you don't have dual fans you might need them with a front mount when the weather warms up.
