awhile ago i thought i read someone posting about upgrading the stock shifter
not changing to a different one but actually changing some stuff inside it.
anyone have and ideas ?
They were probably referring to changing the shifter detent gate inside of it to make it safer by enabling the shifter to move freely from ''1'' to ''OD'' and then having the driver to push the button to engage ''reverse'' and preventing the shifter of being accidentally pushed into ''reverse'' or ''park''...That's what I have in my car and works perfect, plus everything still looks original!!
