Stock typhoon

I just bought a 3"SS down pipe for my stock 93 Typhoon The whole exhaust is bad so I'm replacing with 3" SS. I was wondering if I ran it without a cat but put a muffler on it would my stock turbo be ok or do I need to adjust something. I heard I might over spool the turbo.

If there was reztrictiins in your exhaust freeing it up may give you a psi or 2 more boost simply bc the air wasnt escaping. You have a scanmaster on.it to watch for knock?

Stock chips in these vehicles do have a shut down when over boosted. Removing the cat will cause this. You could get a turbo tweak chip, which would stop that from happening. Phil.
