stock wastegate solenoids- LM9 vs LC2

Is there any functional difference between these? Cosmetically, I can only see these differences...

LC2 wastegate solenoid has a red dot sticker on top while the LM9's is white.

Both are stamped on the side "DR 157"

The top of the LM9 one is stamped "AN 303".

The LM9 is the option code for the '84-'85 hot air engines while the LC2 is the option code for the '86-'87 intercooled engines. The hot air cars used what appears to be the same wastegate solenoid as the intercooled cars.
