Strange lights over New Jersey

Thought I would share. This story has been mentioned on the news more than once over the past few days. Kind of creepy. I live in the area but haven't witnessed anything myself:

I have been following UFO history for about 10 years. Bottom line is, when you do the research and look at the evidence with an open and unbiased mind, you find 98% of it is nothing. But that remaining 2% of strong evidence is quite remarkable. That 2% made me a believer 100% that we are being visited and have been visited for a very long time. It was just 100 years ago humans invented the automobile and airplane, where now we have multiple probes scanning multiple moons in our solar system. It's not all that hard to comprehend that an advanced civilization, or multiple civilizations, that have had advanced technology for thousands of years, can travel via dimensions or bend space and time, or even send probes to earth. There are billions of stars in our galaxy alone that spans 100,000 light years across. There are billions of galaxy's in the universe. Being visited is not just possible, it's probable.

I'm thinking this story is part of that 98 percentile. The airports in the area (NWR, Morristown) didn't seem too concerned about it but you never know.

MUFON needs to be on the case as well as those UFO Hunters from History Channel. I think alot of it may be chalked up to experimental top secret new technology military aircraft. It's all interesting!

The "UFO Hunters" show is kind of silly. The short guy with glasses, think his name is Bill, is annoying. The "UFO Files" Documentaries that have been airing for years are very good, they cover some of the best cases within that 2%.

If you want to watch a good UFO Documentary, try to find "Out Of The Blue" from 2003 by James Fox. (hard to find) It's one of the best ever produced in regards to covering the "big picture" with hard data. He is currently working on a second documentary called "Beyond The Blue" due to be finished soon.

I think alot of it may be chalked up to experimental top secret new technology military aircraft. It's all interesting!

While that theory holds true in modern times for some cases, it falls short when looking at cases from 100 AD to 1950 AD. The most interesting aspect of the UFO phenomenon is not some lights captured on home video, but the 50 year paper trail and the high ranking/highly respected/highly credible people that have come forward with nothing to gain and everything to lose.

It aired again today on Fox News. They interviewed the couple that flimed it. They are an upper middle class family from the that area. Seemed like normal people. The video wasn't very convincing however. The lights were flickering but they claimed it was because of some trees obstructing the camera.

"Officials" say it could be helium baloons with flares tied to them as a prank. My question would be how did they all stay together in the sky then?

Also, the triangular formation seems eerily familiar to many other "sightings" as they calimed in the interview. Oooh Weee Ooooh!

Always the same... it cruises slow, close to the ground, over residential areas, perfectly silent, and when it leaves it's gone in an instant. Check out the Illinois police officers reports and animations. The consistency is pretty amazing.

I saw lastnight on the news it is the space station circling around the world. I have seen it before. I have also seen a UFO years ago here in Illinois.

Back in 1967 when stationed at Ft Lewis, Wash. next door to McCord AFB, the TV NEWS used to report on thousands of people out in shopping centers in that area watching strange lights in the sky with jets from McCord chasing them all over the sky! My wife and I used to go there and watch the AF TRY to catch these things! Funny watching the jets with their distinct light chase these white dots, seem to come withn a mile or so and then see that dot of light, in a blink of an eye move 20 miles away, stop and watch the jet try to catch up!

Watched it once when the old Telstar satellite went over, saw that dot of light get slightly dimmer and circle the satellite a few times and then come back down to its original position!

Now, I have no idea what that dot was, but damn, it sure wasn't anything that has been released by our gov't in over 40 years!

You would think that after all these years of sightings that they would get at least one good/clear picture.

The "flying triangles" are black area craft built by our government. My father is retired from "Skunk Works" and spent much of his time flying back and forth to Groom AFB. Everytime I would mention another sighting to him he would either laugh or say "I dont know what you are talking about".

There was an interesting program on the History channel that put forth the idea that the CIA created the UFO phenomenon to cover up the testing/sightings of the black area aircraft.

Do you have any links to those?? I was curious as to how they could move through the air at high speeds without making sonic booms. I do believe that there are UFOS out there but 99.9% of them are secret government projects, imo.

I always thought this one was something that could be reality. Not being versed on the finer tech. points, it seems that it is possible.

Yeah... the US government had these things 50 years ago and would terrorize citizens in residential areas of Belgium, Peru and other nations around the world for kicks, while they used F4's in Nam.

CIA created the UFO phenomenon to cover up the testing/sightings of the black area aircraft.

You have it backwards, the CIA created disinformation and ridicule on the subject using media. This is very well documented and they were very successful at it for a long time.
