Who will win?

Wait, this came on Monday night here? So you really don't know? Do you want me to spoil it for you? Pretty sure everyone already knew what the outcome would be going in? However, portions of this show felt more real than most on either show. That is, of course aside from Asian and Farm Truck anyways.

I just follow the guide on tv. And it says original air date is 03/30/2017.

No don't spoil it, i will watch it tonight.

Holding Richard Rawlings to his word... I have seen Richard lie enough to believe what Chief says about them changing rules when it suits them.

IDK who was right or wrong on the rules but just shut up and race. He knew Richard was not driving that car give me a break. And even though Aaron quit he could have still drove the car? It's TV drama I guess, more people watch that way and they both have Discovery Ch money there is no way they do what they do with out it.

I agree it could have been a way better race / show if they would have just got on with it and saved all the drama. But Richard bringing in Laughlin's and acting like it was Gas Monkey who did everything is just plain lies. Yes it happened at their garage. That's it though. Would have been better if Aaron didn't quit. They probably should have just called it at that point. I am interested to see what happens with GM tv show with Aaron gone.

I don't have a problem with Alex Laughlin driving the car or helping with the build. There car is sponsored by GMG so in my eyes that makes Richard his boss and him a employee. just my .02

Neither do I really, except it was never presented that way. It was Gas Monkey vs. Street Outlaws. The only thing Gas Monkey did was pay money though. If they had presented it that way from the beginning it would have been better. I think that is what Chief was bitching about the whole time.

I guess giving money to the Laughlins and wrapping their car with a vinyl wrap just doesn't make it Gaas Monkey to me.

I can see some on both sides. However, in the end it did appear as though Richard was bending the rules and instead of laughing it off and making light of it he tried to make his case (which only served to discredit him further). I mean, it just could have been handled differently which might not have made him look like such a Richard Edward aka Dick Head!

I don't know, I felt better about Richard before this. And either way, they are both fictionally based reality shows. There are guys in my area who were paid $15,000 by producers to lose to outlaws (after they had already won once if not twice). So you have to take it all with a grain of salt I guess. And I still watch both regardless, so I guess that makes me just as bad.

We all know Richard is the $$$$ man and so does Chief, so he knew what he was up against.

And the thing about what year model the car had to be I don't really buy it. Steel roof, vin'ed car, min 2500lbs what dos the year matter?

The year doesn't matter. I don't think they really cared about it except that other rules were being changed too so it just added to it. They talk about a lot of this in their latest pod cast.

That part I don't get either. I knew chief kept saying it, but, Richard never said a word about Year. So I think that was an area where you have to take Richard's side. Because I'm with you what the heck does it matter?

Although how is that stock hell cats aren't required to have a cage? I've read something about it being because of the new design technology involved in making them that they safer than the old cars. But still if they weigh the same who cares?

But you are right chief had to know Richard was going to throw more money at it than Carter had farter starters.

Speaking of the Hellcat without a bar, its not the only car from the factory that can go faster than 11.49.

I think the cars are safer now days yes but still NHRA requires a roll bar faster than 11.49. Maybe this new demon will have a factory bar?

Post the link please

I liked the show overall. It entertained me for 5 hours.

The outcome was not what i had expected it to be considering the money Richard spent to win.
