I have an 18 row stretch intercooler fabricated by Keith Mease.I believe a chronic issue with stretch intercoolers like mine is that the shroud does not have a baffle/baffles to move turbulant air from under the car up into the shrouded part of the intercooler.39% of the core has air rushing through while the remaining 61% has low pressure air affecting the core.I think a foil protruding out from the core to scoop air into low pressure area would improve the heat transfer capabilities of the core. This seems to line up with some equations that are being used to measure intercooler performance/efficiency.I think its sort of like driving down the road with your hand behind the outside mirror. There is a low pressure area in the shadow of the mirror. That has been the extent of my experimentation.Just looking for feedback/ideas. Thanks Wayne

I believe my BGC 23 row intercooler has a dual feed air inlet to the core, supposed to increase more airflow to the upper cores.

Looks like a little wing right in the middle of the inlet of the scoop.

I have a electric fan on mine that flows 3 times as much air as the stock IC fan ran from the motor, that seems to help.

No problem.

Dont try and overthink issues with these cars, KISS, keep it simple stupid.

More air, more fuel, more power.... Keep it from detonating and turn it up.
