I'm not having any luck loosening the fill plug in the factory 8.5" 10-bolt differential on my 1986 T-Type. (I've been trying to loosen it using a 3/8 ratchet and short extension, and I've tried soaking it in PB Blast.) Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the plug?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

i had same problem saturday. heated it up with propane type torch but used map gas its a little hotter. just be carefull make sure you have no gas leaks. use shortest extension possible. use neverseize when you reinstall.good luck

Try to tighten it first, you will feel it move just slightly like a pop. Then loosen it up.

I Had The Same Problem.i Used Ratchet And Jack On The Ratchetgood Luck, hop It Works For You.nick

If you have access to an air compressor and impact gun, that will work also.

Make sure to clean all dirt out of the plug,If not the extension may strip it easy
