Here is the problem driving to work in a down poor hit a big puddle of water didn't see it with threw it know problem until about 10 miles down the road. The car started to stumble and buck like a bad maf but still kept driving to work.
Got there and looked a few thing over replace the 02 sensor and a tps sensor still have a problem the car has trouble idleing but no bucking at this time. On my scanmaster the 02's are staying put at 937 and not moving at all what causes that?
The car has been running great no problems after the rebuild have about 300 miles on the motor now. It threw a rich code and turn the fuel pressure down to about 33psi with the line on.

I have a translater with a 3 inch maf also no problem in 2 years sence i got it. Any help would be great thanks Sean

Update Tried a different chip and cleaned iac no luck also took wires off to see if they were wet and they were dry. It seems like the o2 not reading in park but when i get on the road it starts. hmmmmm Help Please

Ok still throwing a rich code 45. When i start my car boom right to 937 reading on the o2's. Usually they start at 384 and work there way up. DOn't know what else to check other then letting the dry out.

Thanks Sean

Hey man, that sucks. What are your blm #'s like? I wonder if the computer is trying to pull the fuel out. Or if its putting it in. Is it possible any water got on the ecm?

I checked the ecm looked dry and the carpet is dry also. On the road the blm are 126 to 130 at 60mph so they look good just at start up i have a problem. Its throwing code 45 and can't get it to stop right now.

someone please help him because mine are doing the same thing. When i start the car they stick at 941 or 937 then after about 2 minutes they drop and cylce like they're suppose to

Hey, bud! Did you try starting or driving the car today at all? I was just wondering if whatever got wet while you were driving through the ocean has now dried enough to work correctly again.

Update us please, now I'm very curious as to what causes such a condition.

Try disconnecting the O2 sensor wire and see if the computer responds by sending zero volts. Then, place a piece of wire (something conductive) into the O2 connector leading towards the computer, grab a hold of the wire with one hand and touch the positive post of the battery with your other hand. The O2 millivolts on your scanmaster shoud begin to rise. This will tell you that the computer has the ability process O2 signals. Then, with the O2 warmed, connect a volt meter to the O2 sensor, and create a vacuum leak, O2 voltage should begine to drop to less than 100mv (connector still disconnected). Then flow some propane into the snorkel of the air cleaner and the sensor voltage should rise above 850mv. If not, change sensor. If the sensor responds correctly, look for a massive vacuum leak.

Well just disconected the o2 wire and its still seeing 937. So what now? It looks like the ecm is not seeing the o2 sensor is that correct? Let me know what to do next.

Thanks Sean

Read the key on engine off voltage with the O2 sensor disconnected. Does it read 937mv? If yes, disconnect the ecm connector that houses circuit 412 and what are the scantool O2 readings with key on engine off? 937mv, or 450mv. If 937mv, possible defective ecm, if 450mv, then voltage is being induced into the O2 wire (you'll have to trace and replace wire section).

FIXXXXED disconected the o2 and nothing change so i took the ecm out and found some H2O in there. So sucked the water out and put a new ecm in there and ran great just like befor. Heres how water got in there went to a car show and didn't put the top part of the case back on and drove the next day. Just forgot but still got water in there some how. Has a new heater core in there maybe not all the way seeled up. Thanks To all who hel[p me out.
