Stumble on startup

I have an 87 T that is acting up on startup idle is fine as soon as it starts but then it hunts and sounds like it wants to stall then comes back up for a couple seconds then dips down to almost a stall, then back up. It only lasts for about 2 to 3 minute's or so then it's fine. Just kind of annoying. Car is pretty much stock except for a hotwire kit, and downpipe. I use it daily and always let it warm up for about 10 mins.

I think they all do it when they are stock lol....

Maybe changing or just cleaning the IAC valve will help, just be careful when you clean it.

Mine cycled up and down for years. Stopped when I installed a chip. Used the basic TT chip for my combo.
