Stumped....

Well, I am still having boost problems. I can't get over 5 lbs in first gear, but it goes back up to where its supposed to be in 2nd and 3rd, but then drops back to 6psi in 4th, but slowly climbs back up to where I have it set after about 5 seconds. I've checked all the vaccumn lines, and the wastegate moves freely.
Furthermore, I've lowered the fuel pressure down since I've been seeing no knock, and ridiculously high 02's (850+) down to 39 psi line off. even at 16 psi, this seems low to have no knock through all 4 gears according to the scanmaster. Would a faulty knock sensor cause symptoms like this? I run 116 unleaded fuel, so I should be able to run high boost.

Your wastegate may move freely but your puck may not be closing all the way. That's what it sounds like to me.

Yeah I would definitely pull the elbow and take a look. Also check around your "Y' and make sure you have no cracks in the rubber lines

ok I'm gonna pull that sucker off saturday and check it.
i have another one I can use that may be will solve the problem.

Well, as always the board was right, and sure enough my puck was no where near covering the hole on the turbo. ATR sent the whole assembly with the turbo bolted to the elbow, and I can't believe that they would send an elbow with a stock puck bolted to an 1.25" wastegate TA49 turbo. I should have looked before I put it on, but I didn't think I would have to.
