I have not removed but watched a youtube video. I understand that they set on place being held in place by fuel rail. Pull fuel rail and they come out with it

O-ring on the end of the injectors. Just pops into the intake and the fuel rail goes on top of it.

hello; Thanks for the input. So the injectors pops into the intake so there's no critical size of the intake to work correctly? Meaning if the intake is coated adding more material the inj. will fit without a problem and work correctly? Can you get just the o-rings if there was a problem? I do have some fairly new ones in there so it shouldn't be a problem. Just thinking.

Haven't had any experiences with powder coating but I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

I remember a discussion where someone thought their powdercoating was causing an issue, but others said it was too thin to matter. I can't recall the outcome of it though.

so the holes for the injectors are powder coated? id make sure the hole for the injector was the same size as stock(without the powdercoating)..

hello; I don't know how precise they can coat things and it's not a PC that I'm going to get done. The coater says he only does intakes in a silvery finish and he messes with the combo of ingrediants to come up with the coat. It won't hole heat in as PC will. We'll see? I had my other exhaust stuff done in a coat similar to Jet Hot and it's like that.

Just have them plug the injector holes in the manifold b/f they powder coat if your concerned.

hello people; I looked at that pc. on the vortexbuick site and are the clips that hold the injectors easilly found? I belive mine has wire ties on them.

The injector retaining rings can be bought through RockAuto: STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # SK91

The coating shouldnt make much of a difference, just lube the o-rings well and pop them in.

Wire ties are for the injector plug wires. The clips is a U shaped item the slides on to clip the injectors onto the fuel rail. They can pop off and disappear when you go to remove them. Not a bad idea to have a set around incase one goes missing.
