I am having some issues that I can't seem to get rid of...

My car is running like crap! It stutters and misses horribly. It usually starts when the boost is raising ~5lbs, then it will continue at about any steady rpm.

I have cleaned and made sure all grounds in the engine compartment are in good shape. I have checked all positives as well.

I have swapped in a known good coil pack and ignition module and a known good computer. I have also changed plugs and wires. I not only swapped in these good parts, but put my stuff into a friends good running car and it continued to run well!

Is there a problem in my wiring harness?

I have set the cam sensor with the caspers unit and have tripled checked with TDC and 25* out, is there any way that it could be 180* off and would that cause these problems?

I also have a rattle and stick with the puck in my THDP. How much play should there be with the puck? I didn't have a problem before I pulled my motor, same DP and turbo, why now?
I have been told that since the puck is getting stuck, the computer may not be getting a correct signal from the sensor connected to the turbo (not sure what its called?) and is throwing too much fuel at the motor. Sounds good to me, but I wanted some other opinions. I have also been told that some turbos are built for an ATR DP and some for the THDP and mine may be miss matched (I bought my PT51 used)? Is this why it's getting stuck? Why did it start rattling/getting stuck now and not before? And lastly can it cause my popping, stuttering, missing?

Sorry for the long post, please help!

TIA,
Ron

I took the cap off of the cam sensor and there seems to be significant play both up/down and rotating with the window peice, shaft is still tightly bolted down and screw in window thing is tight. Is this a possibility?

I am going to pull it and see if I can shim it?

I started my car and unplugged the cam sensor to run to the parts store to see if I could get some shims as well as some other things. It seemed to be running alot better with the cam sensor unplugged... On my way home, I decided I would leave the cam sensor plugged in and it ran like crap again, before I even got out of the parking lot, so I unplugged again.
Unfortunately the car stalled on the way home and wouldn't restart :(

I recently put a new cam in, and it ran fine for the first 30 minutes for break in and crap ever since. Did the new cam kill the sensor, because it has too much play! I am going to try and get my hands on a new sensor tomorrow, I guess we'll see what happens.
