Hello,
I had a very strange thing happen to my T-Regal today. It was running just fine and then with NO warning the check engine light came on and the idle immediatley jumped up (running about 2K)and lots of fuel coming out of the exhaust. Also, if I shift into overdrive at low speed the engine dies, at freeway speed it coughs HARD (the engine dies for a second then refires?). It does not do this in drive though. I have a scanmaster but it quick working so I can't look up the code. I do have Turbolink and will attempt to get that running.
In the mean time, any advice on what to look for? I did just install a new tranny, don't know what that might have to do with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
