I've been told anything over 26 PSI on a stock bottom end is pushing the limits.....![]()
One part is boost, the other is detonation. If you can keep the motor from detonating.. it will live at 26 PSI for a long while. If not, wont live very long.
I don't think you can get 200K miles at 26 PSI. But I have had stock bottom end engines at over 30 PSI on multiple times with no issues.
