Im not sure if the Accel has its own harness or is it plugged into stock ECU harness, anyone knows? The Accel gen6 software Calmap is way too ancient why would anybody done swap for box like that?? OR, is it possible to swap to Gen7 from Gen6? Thanks in advance

gen 6 (aka DFI) uses an adapter to the stock ecm connectors , the dfi ecu looks like a stock ecm

the adapter made use of the maf signal wire for inputting the map signal ,
some used a plug and play adapter that ran to the tps for the map power and to the maf plug to feed in the map signal , without the dfi plug and play setup all that was need was to disconnect the maf sensor and splice the map signal into the signal wire and tap the tps for 5v and ground ...so to go back you need to make sure the map sensor is disconnected from the maf sensor signal wire

besides remove the adapter and connecting a maf sensor (or maf translator setup) you need an ecm and chip for the injectors . be aware most dfi setups ran the 55# deka low ohm injectors and you would not only need a chip but a modified ecm with peak and hold drivers for low ohm injectors , or change the injectors out for a high Z set

So it means that I can connect back the original stock ECU to the connectors, besid

So removing adapter and reconnect the MAF sensor to the stock ECU for "plug-n-play"? And remove the 55lbs low impedance injectors as for the stock ECU utilizes the high impedance ones? Here's how the adapter is taped around and connects stock plugs (as I assume) to the after market Accel gen6 plugs

-remove the dfi ecu and that adapter from the stock harness ,
you can plug the stock ecm in

-under the hood find out where the map sensor signal wire (pin b) connects into the harness , if they used the plug and play adapter remove it , if they spliced into the map signal wire ..disconnect it .
you could even remove the map since you dont need it to run the car on a standard chip
- install a MAF sensor in the inlet and pipe plug it in ..hopefully they didnt cut the connector off
-find out what injectors you have and if they are 55 low impedance youll need a modded ecm or new high impedance injectors .
-get a chip for the injectors
