Swapping Dash Wiring Harness

I am in the process of cloning an 82 TR Sport Coupe and want to use the 82 dash in my 84 NA regal. The configuration of the dashes are different thus I am assuming the harnesses will be different. Do I have to remove the entire dash etc to make the switch?? Could someone who has removed this harness B4 let me know what is involved.

i dont know what differences they have but i would definatly pull the dash out to do it.

you will be standind on your head for a long time if not and i still think you'd end up pulling it so save the head rush
