When I'm just out driving around, not into boost, everything is fine, but after driving normal for a while and then stepping into it I'll notice a blue cloud behind me... :(
But, if I'm into it more often, even just to the point where the turbo starts spooling up but no boost showing, I won't see anything other than two black marks ;)
Shortblock is almost new(2K), so I definitely hope it's not that!
Thanks for any help!
Jon

Jon, I suppose the best way to check for a possible leaking turbo seal is to check the intercooler hoses for signs of oil. Blue smoke is definitly oil. Your motor is fresh, so we both hope it's not internal (valve guides, rings).

How old is the turbo Jon?

The turbo is supposedly as fresh as the motor is...
/me prays for toasted turbo

I just had a turbo rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Seals went out in less than 2000 miles. It's probably (95%) your turbo.
