T-top trim removal

I bought a set of the metal trim pieces that run along the outer edge of the ttops right above the window. They don’t have screws and seem to just snap into place. I can’t find anything on how to remove the old ones so before I start to pry them off and likely bending them, I thought I would ask. They could possibly slide left or right if lifted at the edge to go over the tab, but they may have some adhesive (I found a diagram that indicates they are “snap in” so I wouldn’t think there is adhesive but you never know). I used very little force to pry or slide them off and there was no give at all so I just left it for now.

Just wondering if anyone has experience in changing these out, or knowledge of the process. Looks simple and I may be over complicating it……..
