I have a TA-62 turbo paired up with Seimens 55lb injectors. Are my injectors limiting my HP? I understand the TA-62 is rated for larger injectors but not 100% sure. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Just Wondering

Did you recently buy the TA 62? I was supposed to have one and had my TA-62 rebuilt and was sent back a TA-61 PTE .63. I dont know if they just dont make the parts for them or if the previous owner just didnt know it was a TA-61. I looked all over the net and couldnt find one. I have 42.5 green tops and the previous owner had slips from 11.6 to 12 in the 1/4. Did the injectors you have make them faster.

Ive always had the same set up on the car and was just looking to go a little faster. Not sure where the turbo came from as i bought the car with it already on there. I want to make around 600-625 HP and i think the 55's limit it to about 550. The car has gone 10.87 with the 55's wich is fast eneough. But theres really no such thing as fast eneough so i gotta step it up :)

Ok Cool

Was just wondering if the injectors would help if I got bigger ones. Are you running ALKY or race gas, We only get 91 Octane out here. I got the car in Texas where they have 93 Octane. The car seemed much faster out there with that tank of gas

It would probably help to get bigger injectors only if you matched it with more boost and tuned it. I was running race gas but i am thinking of going to alky since the only track in NY closed down last year and im forced to drive on the street  . My problem is i think im running out of fuel for the amount of boost and volume my turbo is producing. I think going to a 70LB injector would make for easier tuning and safer numbers on the scanners.
