TA rear girdle leaks

hi i have a TA performance rear end girdle on my car. it's brand new with the new engraving on it. i was under my car looking around today and noticed it was leaking around the left girdle bolt. anyone have a remedy for this or is it a defect? its been on the car for about two months now.

Did you by chance view the instructions before putting it on I have a LPW on mine but it says to use RTV on the last few threads sticking out where the nuts go on when torquing the cover. Does yours employ this method?

Jesse, i couldnt tell ya! i had Jack C put it on so i dont know what methods were used. its not leaking at all around the gasket area but where the load bolts for the center caps are.

You can fix this yourself. Take the nuts off and put some RTV on the threads right there after you clean them with some carb cleaner then reinstall the nuts. Mine didn't leak a drop and the instructions given layed it out pretty well.
