ta vs a 87 gn

im pretty new to this site and new to grand nationals in gerneral i know a lil bit but not much at all. im wondering who would win between a lt1 trans am and a 87 grand national , idk wats done to the ta but ive been told around 350 hp wat would have to be done to the gn to keep up w/ a ta if it could hang w/ it in stock form thanx

Traction!! After a 1/4 mile blast the TA will probably take over though. Remember, there are few "stock" GN's left, most have some type of mod, even if it's just the boost cranked up a bit.

that lt1 sounds stout but i would think if your running a 1/4 mile then the GN's bottem end torque would win the race for ya. Keep us filled in if you race. jerrad
