I haven't put on Frank's TA48 yet. I'm sure I would really like. I'm interested, but it sounds like it may need oil seals again. Plus Frank really doesn't want to part with it.

Dan....I don't think Frank's car smoked at all with that turbo....not sure that it needs seals right now. He did mention that he wanted to hold onto it though.

It's not a "mod bug." I'm simply following my slow modification plan

I wasn't really wanting a bigger turbo now, but after Bill sold me the 37# injectors, I realized that my car is now baselined and ready for an upgraded turbo.

If, a big IF, I get a good deal on a TA49 or equivalent that I can run with my injectors and stock torque convertor, then I would sell my stock turbo and not be out much $.

We'll shall see...
