Tach install

Sorry to ask I know this has been asked a gazillion times.... I am trying to figure out how to wire up a new aftermarket tach. People have said to use the two white/grey wire lead with the green plug behind the alternator, but not exactly sure how to to it? Do I tap into one of the wires (if so which one) or can I buy a clip that will plug into it? Thanks!

All you need is a female spade connector and plug it into that green plug.
