tach wire hook up

does anyone know which white wire is the tach wire if you're looking at the ignition module from the drivers side. The wiring diagram I have says the white wire is for the tach, but there are two ! is it to the one all the way to the right (or near the firewall) or is it the other one ?

Behind the alternator is a green wire not hooked to anything, use it.



BTW, a search would have revealed this question has been asked a zillion times, FWIW.

As a correction, the wire behind the alternator is NOT green. The wire is white, with a green connector.

BTW the wire at the ignition module is the one closest to the firewall. It's easier to use the tach wire behind the alternator

D'OH! You're right. Thats what happens when you've been under the hood (and windsheild) of a 2002 camaro for too long.
