I will be installing my tach tonight and just wanted some help. It seem eazy so just want to make sure. It has 3 wires red, green and black. The red is for the 12v, green for the coil pack and black is the ground. What is the best place to tap in with the red and what wire should i tap in with the green wire?

i ran the 12V to the IGN fuse under the dash, the green wire to the tach test lead right behind the alternator.

The white wire coming out from the ignition module is the tach signal. So you could tap into it too, maybe behind the dash for the stealthy look. Would be one less wire in the engine bay. On a side note, my VDO tach in my dash finally died. No amount of hitting the dash can revive it. I'll replace it with a look a like Autometer if they make one.
