Me and the wife driving around after the car show on a quest for grub, and I see the headlights of mustang coming through traffic behind me.
Well he gets up beside me and romps and lifts it ...I give the GN a little juice jump out ahead and lift.
Traffic merges to one lane due to construction and the 5.0 falls in behind me.
Now we are past the construction and he roles up beside me and stays there. So, I speed up a slight bit to see if accels also. Yep, he does so I stab it, he does to I jump a half to 3/4 car on him and he stays.
I wind out 2nd, now in drive and he is still there. Now we are trucking pretty good, And I am ever so slowly inching ahead.
We started approaching traffic ahead and I hear him lift. So I lift also, I give him a thumbs up out the window.
This was my first street encounter since I moved to the Miami area.
The clincher I am still kicking myself for is we were both at a red light side by side perfect lineup.
But, we had to turn around to get some grub we had went way to far in the other direction.
I should have gave it a go...Oh well.
I know from past red light encounters with 5.0's that he would have went down.
I bet he was in the car show also so next time I will see what his combo is.
