You have'nt gotten around to answering my question. The schematic you sent me is quite simple and easy to execute. It's the end result I'm worried about. *(I don't know how to use it.
It's for a THM-350C).

I'm going to wire it up with a toggle switch. When should I 'lock-up' the converter?
What I do know is that I don't want to be constantly flipping a switch all the time and especially not while I am driving long distance. (I don't mind an occasional switch).
