tcc selanoid part #

When I was in highschool I worked at an auto parts store...had books to look **** up in. Could find ANY part for anyone..never had a problem. Now all these parts stores have computers and if you're looking for parts that aren't "Everyday" brake pad type items..you can't find crap! Even my buddy I worked with at the parts store, he's a mgr there now been there for over 15 yrs. Can't find a TCC Selanoid in the damn thing!

SO, does anyone have the GM part # for a TCC Selanoid??
I would like to get the one from a 700R4 trans as that's supposed to be an "upgrade" for the 2004Rs...

Jim, we have the one that is a universal unit for the 200 4R and the 700 4R. Gm does not show a number for this unit. Mark

TCC solenoid

I am using a Rostra solenoid for a 700-r4. It comes with spacer
washers and bolts. I bought it at Autozone.

Just got my universal one today from Bruce...should there be an oring on the end of it? Theres a groove, but no oring, I think the stock one has one right?

O-ring

Yes, it should have an o-ring. Any tranny shop should have one
that would fit. You could use the old one if it is still good.

Look in the paper. It is probobly in there. It did come with one and it is very easy to drop and loose. you can use the one of the old one if need be.

Yea...nothing..I will use the old one. Planning on doing the shift Kit FINALLY on saturday Bruce..so your phone will be ringing. I won't call unless I get stuck, but one question I did have..the seperator plate you sent. Can I reuse my stock one, or is the one you sent in the kit mod'd w/a dif size hole or something? Thats the only question I have at the moment but I reserve the right to change my mind
