I wonder how much boost one would have to run to overcome the big heads? There is a boost level where you could run identical ET's on the same car... except with stock heads.... I wonder where that point is? 30 psi instead of the current 20? How much of that cars ET is attributed to the roller cam? ..... moving the RPM range up about 1000 RPM...... also counts for something......
With that said..... those are some mighty impressive numbers for a TE60...... and on only 20 psi boost. It has made up my mind to keep the TE60 I was going to sell.... and rebuild it.... to get it ready for my car.... I was just speculating about how much ET was gained from the ported heads/roller cam.......
With that said...... obviously with that 60' time....It should still ET good even with stock heads.... but at a higher boost level..... where that boost level is is the question.........???
