Where is the best place to install the sending unit for an electric temperature gage? I can't replace the existing sender right? is there an adapter that will both send infoto the computer and to the gage? Do I install the sending unit that came with the gage in anothe place? I appreciate any help, thanks

I installed mine in the place of the secondary fan turn on switch. This switch goes perpindicular to the manifold(from the top) just near the throttle linkage hookup. It has a button type one wire connector. I did it this way so I could retain the idiot light.

The TRs use separate senders for the stock idiot light and the computer's temperature data. So if you want, and don't mind living without the stock idiot light, the easy way to go is to install your gauge sender where the idiot light sender is, which is the lower left front of the intake manifold (as you are facing the engine) down beneath the turbo. It's not an easy spot to reach, but the sender for my VDO temp gauge was a direct fit there, threads matched and everything. Be sure and get the sender directly into the coolant stream for accurate readings...don't use a "T" fitting.
