Test pipe for stock downpipe

I know Kirban has new stainless ones for $35 but I figured I'd ask you guys incase u had one you wanted to unload. Trying to help a local military guy out and save him some money. He's a little in need right now and his regal is his only car. He has an 87 regal with a carb 3.8 and I'm giving him a catback exhaust for a GN because his fell off. But his catalytic converter has a different flange. So if any if u can help, I would appreciate it and would be willing to send u something you may need in trade too. Thanks guys!

Is it the small one for a stock sized downpipe or 3"? We need a small one becuase his pipe is actually pretty small so I need to cut it to fit either way. Would prefer regualr steel over stainless incase I have to weld it up.

It's a 2.5 I believe, made for direct fit for 86-87 TR's. I believe it's aluminumized pipe.
