testing a battery

i have a Sony Digi cam with a FM-50 battery ( both the camera and the battery are about 5 months old) i have an Ambico charger for it that up in till now has charged the battery fine. now the battery will not take a charge. i bought an other style brand chager (digipower) that is designed for the fm50 battery. it will not charge it either.

my question is how can i test the battery to see if its still good?

Most Radio Shacks around where I live test batteries for free. Or you could find a dumb kid that works at Auto Zone and tell him its a high performance Honda battery, then he will test it for ya
