Ok I have decided to build a TH 350 for my 87 GN powered S10. I do need a little help though. I know I need a mech. modulator and a custom dipstick and may have to build a custom crossmember.
And I know you "can" build a 200r4 to handle all the power you want to through at it. I have just made up my mind to go the TH 350 route. Cheaper, stronger, and it just fits my budget right now.
What brand clutches should I buy? And what to absolutly stay away from? What hard parts should I buy?
Do I need a special convertor for a turbo vehicle?
Is there a specific stall range?
What type of fluid?
The engine is pretty well stock at the moment, but hopefully wont remain that way. Looking for 350-400hp range in the future. Truck weighs around 3100lbs, locker with 3.73 gears.
