Last time out at the track I was getting some slight knock and wasn't able to turn up the timing more than what was in the chip (23/21) even with the dual nozzle set up (M10 & M15) ran an 11.83@115. Since then I put in dual M15's and was able to get the timing up almost to 25/22. Between that and a little lower D/A today, I was able to do almost 3/10 better:D New times in sig:D Faster than a friends GN that he ran a few years back with a built motor:cool: Now if only I could 60' better..

Congrats bro, you are giving this baller on a budget some hope!

That and for some reason my GN has never been able to tolerate much timing. Ex- PT51, FMIC, 50# injectors, & RJC plate (before alky) I could only run 17# of boost with only 19 degrees timing. A friends GN was running 22 degrees with stock turbo/IC and same amount of boost. I guess mine is just an alcoholic:D

Every car is different in the way a response is gotten from the engine. Your hearing what its telling you and adjusting accordingly.

Sometimes understand the timing thing.. your reluctor ring on your balancer may be a few degree's off from your friends.. that in itself plays a role in how much timing as the ring is the "reference". Timing is adjusted as the motor behaves.. just like one Buick's 750 O2's is anothers 800's for O2.
