ok i went to install my terry houston cat and its too long!
what am i missing here?
the test pipe is 12 inches long where as the cat is 14.
theres no give in my exhaust system to make it fit so now what?

I friend of mine ran into this also w/ the new cat he bought about 4 months ago, he just cut it down some.

Mine (THcat) was just a slip fit over the DP. I didn't have to do anything to the cat. Have it stretched if you have to and slide it over the DP.

That one will probably fit the Mease pipe real well.

Where did you get them from? New or used?

Heading out to measure my hollow original THDP cat.

Best thing you can do to it is hollow it. Gained 4 psi. boost.

Only been on the car 2 years too.

but its brand new bought fom quad air.
and the only reason its on there is to pass the e test then back on the test pipe goes..

oh i did finally get it on too.
just sprayed some wd on the end of the dp and it slid on enough to fit.

Just measured mine. It too was 14" so it should fit in the car.

Not sure why the dump is smaller though. I don't have one.

Random Tech. cat. is 15".

Stock cat is like 18" or so.

Sounds like the right one after all.
