is this needed for my case, to my knowledge the engine is all original except valve springs (only 73k) would i need to check if my cam sensor is correct????

If it starts and runs now without problems, it's set correctly. I assume you're talking about the cam sensor setting tool that Casper's sells..it's nice to have if you are building a motor because you can set the cam sensor while the motor's still on the engine stand. Otherwise, you can set the cam sensor with a multimeter just fine, should you ever remove it. Take a look at the setting procedure here.

Sorry to hijack your thread but someone told me that as long as the car starts & runs but your NOT out 180% your fine. He said you dont need the tool. Any truth to this statement? Thanks
