The cash for clunkers GNX rumor

Can be checked. The latest car craft mag says that carfax has the VINs of every cash for clunkers vehicle that was traded in. Every GNX VIN is known, so someone with that list should start checking them on a carfax account. If it's true, it will pop up on one of the reports.

Anyone up to the task? I can supply a couple of known C4C vins to verify that it comes up.

I read that too. Apparently that is for the owners (or buyers) to verify their car has not been resold.
